RIA Novosti reports about this.

According to the agency, the share of Russian brands in Russian shopping centers has increased significantly over two years, but the share of foreign brands still remains significant.

It is noted that new brands are entering the Russian market, and their geography is changing.

“If in the first quarter of 2023 new foreign brands were Turkish, then in January-March 2024 40% of brands were from China,” the material says.

It was previously reported that new tenants will occupy the space of IKEA stores in Megas in 2024.

At the same time, the vice-president of the Union of Shopping Centers, Pavel Lyulin, said that almost half of the market participants in Russian shopping centers believe that the brands that replaced Zara, H&M, IKEA and other foreign stores could not adequately replace their predecessors.
