Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city of Tubas, northeast of the West Bank, after armed clashes, while a Palestinian was killed by occupation bullets south of Jenin and others were arrested.

The Israeli army withdrew from Tubas after arresting 3 Palestinian youths and wounding two others with varying injuries.

This morning, Israeli special forces stormed the city and surrounded a house in the middle of it. They demanded that a young man turn himself in, claiming that he was wanted by their security forces. They then arrested him and tampered with the contents of the house.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the incursion forces arrested two other young men in Tubas, one of whom was injured, while the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews transported two people who were injured during the occupation forces' storming of the city.

The correspondent reported that the Israeli army sent reinforcements in addition to Tubas, while the resistance clashed with him amid intense flight of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft in the sky of the city.

Like Jenin and Tulkarm, Tubas has become one of the main targets of Israeli incursions targeting resistance fighters.

Martyr and arrests

Early today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, under the pretext of searching for wanted persons.

During the storming, the occupation forces shot a Palestinian boy, causing him to later die from his serious wounds.

Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin announced the death of the boy Mutasim Nabil Abed from Qabatiya as a result of his injuries sustained during the occupation army’s storming of the town.

Al Jazeera's correspondent stated that most of the incursions carried out by the Israeli army in the West Bank - last night and at dawn today - were concentrated in the cities of Nablus, Qalqilya, Jericho, and the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.

The raids also included the towns of Beit Ummar and Al-Dhahiriya in the Hebron Governorate, south of the West Bank.

Palestinian activists documented scenes of Israel's storming of the city of Jericho and the actions taken by the occupation forces in the town of Auja, searching for the perpetrator of the armed attack that targeted a settler bus and several Israeli cars, causing 3 injuries two days ago.

On the other hand, the occupation army said that its forces arrested two Palestinians in the city of Nablus, suspected of their involvement in shooting at a military site yesterday.

During the new incursions, Israeli forces arrested a number of young Palestinians, raising the number of detainees from the seventh of last October to 7,870 detainees, while in the same period more than 450 were martyred by occupation bullets in the West Bank.

In occupied Jerusalem, images broadcast by local Palestinian platforms showed the Israeli occupation forces detaining a young man in the Bab al-Asbat area in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the worshipers’ exit from the mosque after they finished the dawn prayer.

Al Jazeera's correspondent in occupied Jerusalem reported that hundreds of young men carried out a stand in support of the people of Gaza and its resistance - in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque - on the eve of the twentieth night of the month of Ramadan.
