Several people were taken hostage on Saturday in a town in the center of the Netherlands, police announced, adding that houses had been evacuated and the city center closed. The local police also specify that “there is no indication of terrorist motivation”.
“A hostage-taking involving several people is underway in a building in the center of the town of Ede, police said in a statement published on the social network has no indication of terrorist motivation.
