Hamas: America confirms its partnership in the aggression by sending new weapons to Israel

The Hamas movement said on Saturday that the US administration’s approval to send new arms shipments to Israel confirms Washington’s full partnership in the war of extermination against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The movement said - in a statement published on the Telegram platform - “We strongly condemn the intention of the administration of US President Joe Biden to send new shipments of weapons, including missiles and warplanes, to the criminal Zionist entity.”

Last Friday, the Washington Post newspaper quoted two official sources in the US Departments of Defense and State that the Biden administration had approved the sale of new warplanes and thousands of unguided bombs to Israel, which continues its devastating war on the Gaza Strip.

The newspaper explained that the new shipment - amounting to $2.5 billion - includes 25 F-35 stealth warplanes and aircraft engines.

Hamas said that sending this shipment fully confirms America's partnership in the brutal war of extermination "waged by the Nazi-Zionist occupation against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip."

Hamas added - in a statement - that “President Biden’s administration’s insistence on its biased position and unlimited political and military support for the occupation and its fascist policies, which seek to exterminate our people and displace them from their land, confirms the lie of the American positions regarding the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, and the catastrophe caused by the Zionist killing machine.” .

An appeal to the international community

The movement called on the international community and the United Nations to impose a complete ban on the supply of weapons to the criminal Zionist entity, and to take steps to stop the aggression and hold the occupation and its leaders accountable for the violations and crimes against humanity they have committed.

In Washington, Democratic lawmakers criticized the US administration for sending weapons to Israel without notifying Congress.

But the Biden administration responds to these criticisms by saying that Israel has the right to defend itself.

According to a previous statement by the US State Department, Israel is waging war in accordance with international law, despite the spread of videos on the Internet about the Israeli army’s horrific violations against civilians.
