“About 130 diplomatic missions and international organizations. The total number of foreign participants in today’s event is more than 250 people,” the Department of State Protocol of the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.
The department expressed gratitude to the diplomats for their solidarity with the Russian people in difficult times. Among the event participants were ambassadors of the United States and EU countries, as well as the Vatican, Brazil, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Peru, Israel, Iran, Syria and others.
White balloons were launched into the sky in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
Earlier it became known that the number of victims had increased to 551.
