“One massive and 57 group”: the Russian Defense Ministry spoke about attacks on military targets in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the actions of the armed forces in the zone of a special military operation in the period from March 23 to March 30.

During the specified period, one massive and 57 group strikes were carried out on military installations of Ukraine and the infrastructure supporting them. The military used land-, sea-, and air-based long-range precision weapons, including Zircon hypersonic missiles and Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, as well as drones.

“As a result of the strikes, enterprises of the military-industrial complex, decision-making centers of the armed forces and the Security Service of Ukraine, workshops for the production of unmanned boats, arsenals, fuel depots, air defense and energy facilities, as well as temporary deployment points for special operations forces and foreign mercenaries were hit. The targets of the strikes have been achieved. All designated targets were hit,” said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.

Along with this, aircraft and air defense systems shot down: 11 Storm Shadow cruise missiles (Great Britain), three Neptune anti-ship missiles, four ADM-160 MALD aircraft guided missiles (USA), two S-200 anti-aircraft missiles converted to hit ground targets, two Hammer aircraft guided bombs made in France, 171 rockets from the HIMARS, Vampire, and Hurricane multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 1,208 UAVs.

Situation on the front line

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, also said that within a week, 18 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered.

In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, defeated the manpower and equipment of seven mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and four brigades of military defense in the areas of the village.
