22-year-old Olga and 20-year-old Sofia were in the hall when they heard the sound of gunfire. The older one told the younger one to run, but the shooting began to intensify and the terrorists entered the hall. The girls lay down between the rows.

When the sounds of gunfire began to get closer, the sisters and the others decided to flee. They managed to record a voice in the family chat and report what was happening. A couple of minutes later we got lost in the crowd - and the youngest found herself in full view of the terrorist.

“I took some girl with me. When I ran out, we went onto the escalator, it was still working. And the shooter came out. I realized that now he would shoot at us again. And I sat down and told the people who were nearby to sit down too,” recalls Sofia.

When Olga lost sight of her sister, she was seized with panic. My brother called and she said she couldn’t find Sofia. It turned out that someone passing by had already taken it.

“I thought that they were deceiving me so that I would calm down and get out too. Then my brother connected his phone with his sister’s phone so that Sofia and I could hear each other. Hearing her voice, I calmed down and began to get out myself,” Olga said.

Earlier, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko confirmed the death of another victim of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
