Israeli forces inspect a factory that was hit by a Hezbollah missile the day before yesterday in Kiryat Shmona, northern Israel, near the Lebanese (French) border.

A Lebanese medical source reported to Al Jazeera that a martyr was killed in an Israeli march that targeted a car in the town of Al-Bazouriya, south of Lebanon, today, Friday. Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted Israeli occupation army positions in the Shebaa Farms.

The official Lebanese News Agency stated that an Israeli drone strike targeted a car on the road to the town of Al-Bazouriya in the Tyre district, south of Lebanon, and fire engulfed the targeted car. Civil defense crews then extracted the dead man from the car, while the presence of another dead person is still being verified.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it targeted with missiles the Zibdin barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, achieving a direct hit. Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's correspondent said that sirens were sounding in Kiryat Shmona and other towns in the Upper Galilee.

As for the Israeli Channel 13, it reported that a suspicious object was intercepted in the Kiryat Shmona area, launched from Lebanon.

In the wake of a devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip that led to Tel Aviv being brought before the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide, since October 8, 2023, the Israeli-Lebanese border has witnessed an exchange of fire between the Israeli army on the one hand, and Hezbollah and Palestinian factions on the other hand. It led to deaths and injuries on both sides of the border.

Recently, threats have escalated from Israeli officials to expand attacks on Lebanese territory unless Hezbollah fighters withdraw away from the border with northern Israel.
