“In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Forces occupied more advantageous positions,” the report says.
According to the department, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted defeat on the Ukrainian army in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka of the Lugansk People's Republic, Andreevka, Antonovka, Kurdyumovka, Krasnogorovka, Nikolaevka and Chasov Yar of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces per day amounted to more than 300 military personnel.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that fighters of the Russian Armed Forces launched a strike at night with high-precision weapons, including aeroballistic hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, on energy facilities in Ukraine.
