The series “Baba Jah” is one of the comedy series that competed in the first half of Ramadan 2024, starring Akram Hosni, Nisreen Amin, Samaa Ibrahim, Faryal Youssef, the child Hana Zahran, and the child Salim Mustafa. The drama was handled by Wael Hamdy and Muhammad Ismail, and the work is taken from a Korean book called “Father.” “Dad for rent” and directed by Khaled Marei.

The idea of the series revolves around the imbalance in the relationship between a father and his children. This imbalance prompts him to change his life and create a page on social media platforms that announces the “Baba Jah” service for those looking for someone to play the role of a father for hours in exchange for a fee.

The episodes of the series sparked widespread controversy and sympathy on social media pages because of the scene of the daughter giving her father the money she was able to collect in exchange for him giving her the same happy moments as a father as he does to other children in his profession.
