from remote islands near national borders or around military bases.
We have designated ``Special Watch Areas'' where

At a council meeting on the 29th, the government newly announced

This is the first time that the area around a U.S. military facility in Okinawa Prefecture has been designated. A total of 583 locations
have been designated so far,
including
148 ``Special Watch Areas'' and 435 ``Watch Areas.''
Minister of Economy and Security Takaichi told the council, ``The anticipated designation of the area is almost complete.We will immediately begin investigating the usage status of land and buildings, and take steps to prevent acts that will impede the functions of important facilities.
