In the Central African Republic, AIDS is often considered a “disease of shame” and patients are condemned to hide their infection. Born in 1990, in Bangui, the Central African capital, director Elvis Sabin Ngaïbino believes in the impact of images to overcome prejudice. With his camera, he immerses us in the life of a couple affected by AIDS, but who maintains hope of overcoming the ordeal.
