As Russia continues its fierce attacks on Ukraine, the Romanian government, a neighboring country of Ukraine and a member of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), has announced that what appears to be part of a drone has fallen into its territory. Similar situations have occurred in Romania before, and it seems that they are increasing their vigilance.

Romania's Ministry of Defense announced on the 29th that on March 28th, something that appeared to be part of a drone was found fallen on farmland in the eastern part of the country, which borders Ukraine across the Danube River.

However, it did not specify whether the drone was from Russia or Ukraine.

AFP news agency reports that there are no injuries.

There is a base along the Danube River that transports Ukrainian agricultural products, and what appears to be part of a drone was found in Romania during a Russian drone attack last September.

Romania, a member of NATO, is responding to these situations in a restrained manner, but appears to be increasing its vigilance.

In addition, on March 24th, the Polish military, also a NATO member, announced that a Russian missile entered its airspace for approximately 40 seconds, indicating that the Russian military's fierce attack on Ukraine caused unexpected conflict with surrounding NATO member states. There are concerns that this could lead to situations like this.
