US President Joe Biden speaks to his supporters at an election rally (Reuters)

US President Joe Biden said that Arab countries are ready to fully recognize Israel in a future agreement.

The American Bloomberg News website quoted Biden as saying - during an election event in New York attended by former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton - that he worked with the leaders of these countries for this purpose.

The website indicated that Biden's words came in response to the boycotts of some attendees and their criticism of his policy in the Middle East related to supporting the Israeli war on Gaza. “Shame on you, Joe Biden,” someone shouted.

Two days ago, Biden was exposed to a similar situation, as pro-Palestine demonstrators interrupted his speech in North Carolina as part of his election campaign, demanding the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip.

According to Bloomberg, Biden said at the event that there must be a plan for the next day in Gaza, and there must be a trade-off for the two-state solution.

He added that there must be progress, expressing his belief that Washington can do this.

Biden pointed out that there are a very large number of innocent victims, both Israelis and Palestinians, and more efforts must be made to deliver food and medical supplies to Gaza.

Biden considered it understandable that Israel has such deep anger in light of the continued existence of the Hamas movement, but action must be taken and efforts that lead to the killing of a large number of innocent civilians, especially children, must be stopped, he said.

Biden (81 years old) faces concerns about his age and fitness as he seeks to win a second 4-year term.

Recent opinion polls conducted by Reuters/Ipsos show that his support rate is 40% in a close race with former President Donald Trump (77 years old) before the elections scheduled for next November 5.
