Earlier, Sergei’s wife Nadezhda Napalkova, in a conversation with Izvestia, said that doctors in Bangkok have been fighting for his life for three days.
The woman recalled that her husband became ill after the flight was delayed and he and the other passengers were forced to stay in a closed cabin of the plane.
“Very quickly it became stuffy and hot. My husband became ill and suffered cardiac arrest. We were taken by ambulance to a Bangkok hospital,” Napalkova said.
She said that after hospitalization, her husband’s heart stopped several more times.
