According to reports, the current climate conditions are generally unfavorable, and as the weather gets warmer, the number of people traveling into the mountains and forests and working in the forests has gradually increased in the northeastern Inner Mongolia region. Phased risks have become increasingly prominent, and the pressure to prevent and extinguish forest and grassland fires has continued to increase. In particular, the Daxinganling forest area is the top priority in forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing work nationwide, and there is no room for failure.
In this regard, the National Forest Prevention Guide emphasizes the need to be highly alert and ready, and to use pragmatic and effective measures to prevent and control forest and grassland fires in Northeast Inner Mongolia. First, we must adhere to prevention first and strengthen prior efforts. Strengthen early warning monitoring and emergency reporting, follow up on rolling research and judgment, increase publicity and guidance, further promote the implementation of township pilot experience at the grassroots level, and promote mass prevention and treatment and joint prevention and control to achieve effective results. Second, we must adhere to a problem-oriented approach and promote comprehensive management. We will solidly carry out special actions to dynamically eliminate major hidden dangers of forest and grassland fires across the country and investigate and deal with illegal fire use, coordinate special management, and carry out in-depth open and covert investigations. Third, we must adhere to bottom-line thinking and strengthen emergency preparedness. We will further optimize and improve the plan, prepare sufficient prevention materials, strengthen emergency fire prevention and extinguishing duties, and make full preparations for fighting fires and rescuing major disasters based on extreme situations. Fourth, we must adhere to the "two supremacy" and handle it safely and efficiently. Strengthen safety risk assessment, implement safety education and training drills, and strictly implement professional command in the event of a fire, strengthen fire scene management and control, decisively relocate threatened people, and ensure the safety of firefighters and the people.
