An injured Palestinian appealed to get his elderly father out of his house, where he had been trapped for 10 days after the Israeli occupation army attacked Al-Shifa Medical Hospital, west of Gaza City, and the surrounding area.

The Palestinian - who was almost lying on the ground - said that he was trapped in his house with his 80-year-old father, who had a platinum implant in his foot, indicating that he was unable to get him out due to his preoccupation with the injury he sustained.

He explained to Al Jazeera that the residents of the Beach camp, northwest of Gaza City, had evacuated their homes, but he could not leave because of his insistence on staying with his father and the need to treat his wound.

He pointed out that he had previously been trapped with him for 3 months in Al-Baptist Hospital in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza, before the occupation army arrested him.

He launched an appeal for the need to expedite the removal of his father from where he was, and asked, “Where is the Red Cross?! Where is the world?! Oh world, does anyone feel for us,” before he continued with a sigh, “Oh Lord, the whole world has abandoned us... Oh God, oh generous.”

"Lord, do not harm my father and give him strength," he added.

It is noteworthy that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 32,552 martyrs, while the number of injured has reached 74,980, according to the latest official figures announced by the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
