ERC, EH BILDU and the BNG reissue their sovereign coalition for the European elections on June 9 and add Yolanda Díaz's former partners in the Balearic Islands to their agreement. This was ratified this Thursday in an event at the headquarters of the Republican Party in Barcelona to certify the alliance before Oriol Junqueras himself.

Thus, the president of ERC; the head of EH Bildu's list for the European Parliament, Pernando Barrena; The head of International Relations of the BNG executive, Rubén Cela, and the coordinator of Ara Més, Mateu Mates, signed this Thursday the agreement of the Ara Repúblicas coalition to compete in the European elections alongside the Republican party candidate, Diana Riba.

"It is a candidacy that aims to work again for stateless nations and to achieve their own state," Riba warned about the participation of the sovereignist list on June 9.

For his part, the leader of Bildu in the European Parliament has warned that the coalition is going to "transfer back to the European level the collaboration scheme that we maintain in the Spanish Parliament" and that it has "so rightly known how to intervene in state politics" . "The fruits are visible to all," he concluded regarding the concessions taken by the independence movement from the Government of Pedro Sánchez.

The ERC MEP has been in charge of taking stock of the current legislature in the European Parliament and has boasted of having defended the respective languages in the European institutions "in the face of Spanish nationalism within the Petitions Committee." However, she has ignored that the official status of Catalan was one of Carles Puigdemont's demands of the PSOE for the investiture and that the Sánchez Government has encountered the rejection or indifference of the EU in dealing with the issue.

Més per Mallorca - the main formation of the Ara Més brand, which also integrates the platforms in Menora and Ibiza - decided this Monday to break with Yolanda Díaz's party and not run under the umbrella of its electoral list for the European elections on the 9th. of June.

In the 2019 elections, ERC, EH Bildu and BNG already presented a joint candidacy in which Junqueras, then in prison, ran as number one. On the other hand, Més per Mallorca preferred to join in the 2019 European Championships with Compromís, and not with ERC.
