CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said this in an interview with the National Defense magazine.
“Regarding the mentioned statements by officials of the Republic of Armenia, I note that the secretariat from Yerevan did not receive any official statements about the suspension of membership in the CSTO,” he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that the republic does not participate in the decision-making of the CSTO, but does not block them either.
Tasmagambetov also noted that the possibility of expanding the organization is not excluded.
