According to him, the need for military-political alliance is growing significantly.

“This is natural and confirmed by history. Moreover, the CSTO offers very favorable conditions for participation,” Tasmagambetov said.

He noted that there is no strict “bloc discipline” in the organization, and there is also a decision-making procedure that is democratic in nature.

In addition, the CSTO gives priority to political and diplomatic methods of resolving crisis situations.

Earlier, Tasmagambetov said that member countries need tools to counter terrorism.

Also, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that the republic does not participate in the decision-making of the CSTO, but does not block them either.
