A 22-year-old man was arrested this Wednesday
after stabbing four people to death, including a minor, and injuring five others
in Illinois (United States).
Rockford
police
received several alert calls about injured people in different parts of the town, the CBS news network reported.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old suspect who allegedly
broke into a home
and then injured several people in the surrounding area.
The fatalities were a 15-year-old minor, a 63-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man and a 22-year-old young man.
In addition, another person was
seriously injured
and four others suffered minor injuries that were treated at a hospital.
Police are questioning the suspect and do not yet know the motive for the attack.
