Ilya Remeslo notes that back in 2021 he applied to Rospatent with a request to register the trademark “Beautiful Russia of the Future,” but the examination, according to the lawyer’s application, lasted almost 2.5 years. A positive decision was made only in 2024; the trademark registration certificate was entered into the relevant State Register in March.

In a commentary to RT, Remeslo emphasized that he initiated the procedure for registering the PRB brand on his own initiative - Navalny’s supporters could have launched a similar process.

“What brought me to the idea of registering a trademark was the cynical and, in my opinion, illegal use of this phrase by the Navalnists. For example, with the tricolor. At the same time, they could have registered the phrase “Beautiful Russia of the Future” themselves, but did not bother to do so,” the lawyer noted.

Craft also shared plans to use the preemptive right to the brand received from Rospatent.

“Google blocks contextual advertising if it is misleading or illegally uses trademarked phrases, and YouTube does the same in the case of videos, even more severely. Therefore, if Navalnists try to promote contextual advertising with PRB, I have a high chance of blocking it as the copyright holder,” said the lawyer.

According to the interlocutor, he plans to use the received patent to release his own merchandise, including to support the SVO.
