The Lebanese Civil Defense announced the killing of 7 people in an Israeli raid on an ambulance center in the town of Al-Habbariyeh in southern Lebanon, hours after Hezbollah announced the killing of 3 of its members in raids in northeastern Lebanon.

The Israeli Air Force targeted an ambulance center belonging to the Islamic Emergency and Relief Authority, which led to its complete destruction, according to a local official in the town, while paramedics were present inside it.

Civil defense teams worked to remove the bodies and continued surveying and removing rubble from the site of the raid.

Reuters quoted two security sources early on Wednesday morning that at least 7 people were killed in an Israeli raid on the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon.

The two sources added that the raid apparently targeted the Islamic Emergency and Relief Center of the Islamic Group in the town of Hebbariyeh in southern Lebanon.

Raids on Hezbollah sites

Hezbollah previously announced the killing of 3 of its members yesterday, Tuesday, in Israeli air strikes near two towns in northeastern Lebanon.

The Israeli army confirmed that it targeted an airstrip and buildings within a Lebanese Hezbollah military complex in the Zaboud area.

The occupation army said that it carried out raids on an airstrip and military installations of a Hezbollah air unit in the Tal Wardin area in the Lebanese interior. It also attacked the party’s weapons stores in Hanin and a military compound in Beit Yahoun in southern Lebanon.

He added that his fighters raided the Wadi Afra area in the Bekaa, eastern Lebanon, and Hezbollah military buildings in Aita al-Shaab and Kafr Kila, and an observation point in Maroun al-Ras, southern Lebanon.

The occupation indicated that its targeting of sites in the Zaboud area (190 kilometers from the border) came in response to the party’s firing of missiles at the air control unit in Meron.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced carrying out 10 attacks on Israeli sites, and targeting the Yardun Barracks in the occupied Syrian Golan with more than 50 Katyusha rockets, in response to an Israeli raid in the Bekaa.
