“A criminal case has been opened against a resident of the city of Sterlitamak on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia (public calls for terrorist activities committed using the Internet),” the department’s statement noted.

As investigators point out, during his live broadcasts on video hosting, he called for terrorist attacks, and also spoke disparagingly about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region and insulted the memory of the victims.

The suspect is currently detained.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nizhny Novgorod reported that law enforcement agencies brought to administrative responsibility the parents of a schoolgirl who spoke in an offensive manner about the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall building.
