She also noted that department specialists accompany the victims or relatives of the victims throughout the entire investigative procedure, which can last quite a long time.

According to Timofeeva, psychological assistance is currently provided by employees of a number of departments: the Ministry of Emergency Situations, city services, the Ministry of Health, etc.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations opened a hotline in connection with the terrorist attack at Crocus. The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health also launched hotlines.
