Thousands of Jordanians demonstrated near the Israeli embassy in Amman to denounce the war on Gaza (social networking sites)

Jordanian and Egyptian demonstrators exchanged messages through slogans they launched during demonstrations and events organized to denounce the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

For the third day in a row, thousands of Jordanian demonstrators continued their protests in the vicinity of the Israeli embassy in the Jordanian capital, Amman, denouncing the Israeli war on Gaza, and chanting slogans in support of the resistance in the besieged Palestinian Strip.

The demonstrators also demanded stopping normalization with Israel and providing support to the Palestinian resistance, and the police prevented them from reaching the Israeli embassy.

Many videos - published on social media platforms - showed the Jordanians' commitment to making their voices heard this time, as the participants chanted for the Palestinian people and the resistance, and also called for the lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip.

Many Jordanians called on the rest of the governorates' residents to join the protests, in order to make their voice heard to the world in support of Gaza. One of the activists said, "Today we are waiting for Salt, Ajloun, Madaba, Mafraq, Jerash, and Tafila. Let it be a comprehensive Jordanian flood, whose loud roar the whole world will hear."

Yesterday, Karak, Ma'an, Aqaba, Irbid and Zarqa rose up to support Gaza, in addition to the siege of the enemy's embassy in Amman.

Today we are waiting for Salt, Ajloun, Madaba, Mafraq, Jerash and Tafila..

The scenes from Jordan aroused the interaction and feelings of the people of the resilient Gaza Strip, especially in its north, which is witnessing an unprecedented siege and famine, and “From northern Gaza, we hear your voice” is a message sent by many activists on social media platforms from Gaza, to the Jordanian people, as a message of thanks for their support.

The demonstrations were greatly welcomed from within the Gaza Strip. Al-Jazeera correspondent Anas Al-Sharif said - in his blog post - “I am sitting with a group of young men from our camp, the Jabalia camp, and we are following the terror of the free, starving people with joyful hearts and endless prayers... May you always be the best support for your family and your people.”

I sit with a group of young men from our camp, Jabalia Camp, and we follow the panic of the free youth with joyful hearts and endless prayers.. May you always be a blessing to your family and people. I ask God to extinguish the fire of war sooner rather than later, and to reward you and accept your deeds 🇯🇴 #Jordan_Support_Gaza pic.twitter.com/LUhMWB62Xs

Many activists thanked the Jordanians for the ongoing demonstrations, denouncing what is happening inside Gaza, and called on them to continue to make their voices heard for a ceasefire inside the Strip.

This is the Jordan I know... The continuation of these marches with the pressure on the embassies of the #Zionist_entity and the #United_States terrifies this usurping entity... (For our enemy is what he fears most is the awakening of the peoples) #Al-Aqsa_Flood #Jordan pic.twitter.com/fRNKb48ul1

From northern Gaza to Amman 🇯🇴

we hear your voice.. Your cheering consoles us.. And your stance comforts our loneliness..

Do not abandon your actions.. Continue..

The father of a weak heart has never lived..

If you get angry, scream. If you are victorious, then shout.

Our battle is one.. even if the borders are far apart.. hearts have met and souls have connected..

Messages exchanged between Amman and Cairo

The demonstrations carried out by Jordanians in support of the people of Gaza received great interaction at the Arab level, with many activists describing the crowds that took part in the demonstrations as “Jordan’s flood.”

May God bless the demonstrations in Jordan today. This is the real demonstration, not the vocal phenomenon. Every active movement enrages and harasses the agents of the occupation. Make sure that they enrage the occupation itself. The sound reaches it from Amman, Salt, Zarqa, Karak, Ma’an and all the blessed lands. As for what pleases them, it is that you adhere to the ceiling that they define, and not …

The sound of the demonstrations in Amman, Jordan, reached the Egyptian capital, Cairo, as videos circulated by pioneers on social media platforms showed a solidarity stand in front of the Journalists Syndicate in support of Gaza in response to the call of the Jordanian demonstrators, who launched in one of their slogans the phrase, “What are the Egyptian people doing? Why is the Rafah crossing closed?”

The participants in the Cairo stand responded with slogans such as “Tell our comrades in Amman, Egypt is still alive too.”

In Morocco, the demonstrators' phone cameras documented their protest in front of the parliament headquarters in the capital, Rabat, in support of Gaza, demanding the lifting of the siege and a ceasefire inside the Strip.

It is noteworthy that the security forces in Jordan prevented the demonstrators from reaching the Israeli embassy by imposing an intense security cordon at the entrances and exits leading to the embassy.

In contrast, the authorities in Jordan say that peaceful protests are permitted, “but they will not tolerate any attempt by those seeking to exploit anger against Israel to cause chaos or attempt to reach a border area with the occupied West Bank or Israel.”
