The Polish Ministry of Defense reported this Wednesday the

dismissal of General Jarosaw Gromadziski as head of the Eurocorps

and the opening of an investigation into alleged espionage.

In a brief statement, Defense explains that "the Military Counterintelligence Service began an inspection procedure" of the lieutenant general with the objective of gathering "information about the officer," and that "the decision was made to remove him from his position as commander of the Eurocorps and its immediate return "to Poland".
