A fire that broke out this Tuesday in a poultry farm in the Burgos town of

has left nearly
50,000 chickens dead
due to the flames, which has also caused the loss of all ongoing production, although none of the 15 workers of this company have been affected by the event.
Through a statement collected by Europa Press, the Council of Chambers of Commerce of Castilla y León has expressed its regret, solidarity, support and "total backing" to the company Granjas Sagredo for the virulent fire that occurred this afternoon at its facilities in Briviesca. .
The family business, owned by businessman José Sagredo, in turn, president of the Briviesca Chamber of Commerce and plenary session of the Council of Chambers of Commerce of Castilla y León, has been devastated by the flames that have caused the loss of nearly 50,000 chickens and all production underway, although, fortunately, none of the 15 workers of this company have been affected by the terrible event.
The council has highlighted the coordinated intervention of the fire stations in the area and the rest of the specialized emergency personnel who continue with the extinction work.
