It is clarified that in 2023, 224 thousand administrative offenses in the field of migration legislation were identified.
For example, law enforcement officers identified 7.5 thousand facts of illegal labor activity and almost 8 thousand violations of the procedure for attracting foreigners to work in Russia.
“The judicial authorities have made about 42 thousand decisions on the expulsion of foreign citizens and stateless persons from the Russian Federation,” RIA Novosti quotes the report.
In general, as the Ministry of Internal Affairs points out, last year more than 2 million foreign citizens and stateless persons were registered for migration in the city.
Earlier, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Labor stated that the department proposed to designate the state company “Work in Russia” as the state operator of the organized recruitment of labor migrants.
