The organization has completed the formulation of plans for science and technology to promote ecological environment development and the assignment of policy responsibilities, as well as the transfer of relevant establishment positions and personnel transfers. Since 2023, 3 ministerial-level key laboratories such as Environmental Sensory Stress and Health, 3 engineering technology centers such as Internet of Things Technology Research and Application (Wuxi), and 7 ministerial-level scientific observation and research stations such as the Hulunbuir Forest-Grassland Interlaced Area have been built.
The fourth is to implement in-depth ecological and environmental science and technology assistance and science popularization. Promote collaborative prevention and control of PM2.5 and O3 pollution, ecological environment protection and restoration of the Yangtze River, ecological protection and high-quality development station tracking research and scientific and technological assistance in the Yellow River Basin, and formulate more than 400 relevant technical plans and policy recommendations for stationed cities Strengthening scientific decision-making and precise policy implementation provide strong support. Launched a survey and research on the ecological and environmental science literacy of Chinese citizens, completed the establishment of the eighth batch of 36 national ecological and environmental science popularization bases, and continued to organize ecological and environmental science popularization activities such as "I am an Ecological Environment Explainer" and "College Students in Action".
