Today, Tuesday, the Palestinian resistance engaged in violent clashes with the Israeli army in areas in Gaza City, especially around the Shifa Medical Complex, while the occupation forces committed a series of massacres in Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that violent clashes took place between resistance fighters and the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Shifa complex, which is located in the western part of Gaza City, and the Israeli army stormed it a few days ago.

Activists broadcast a video clip in which sounds of clashes are heard while an Israeli helicopter flies over the area and launches missiles.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that similar confrontations took place between the resistance and the occupation forces south of the Beach camp, west of Gaza City.

In the context of the battles taking place around the Al-Shifa Complex, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it targeted an Israeli troop carrier with a Yassin 105 shell and sniped a soldier on Al-Rashid Street, west of the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

It also said that it targeted two Israeli tanks with two Tandom shells in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which led to one of them being completely burned.

The Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades announced that they bombed the cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon and settlements on the Gaza Strip yesterday.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that it targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an anti-armor "tandom" missile in the compound.

Amid the intense battles, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the occupation is tightening its siege of health personnel and patients in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

Injured soldiers

On the other hand, the Israeli army announced today that 31 soldiers were injured in the Gaza battles during the past 48 hours.

The Israeli army said that 288 soldiers are still receiving treatment after being injured in the Gaza battles, noting that 25 of them have serious wounds.

He pointed out that 3,130 officers and soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the war, including 1,509 who were injured during the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, which began late last October.

For its part, the Sheba Medical Center in Israel revealed that 60% of Israeli soldiers who were injured in the Gaza war and underwent rehabilitation suffered from symptoms of concussion, and some of them were diagnosed as suffering from mental problems.

Israeli doctors told Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that some of these soldiers were suffering from concussion symptoms, without being examined at all.

Mobile massacres

Meanwhile, since dawn today, the Israeli army carried out an air and artillery bombardment that killed dozens of people, most of them in Rafah and Khan Yunis.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of 17 martyrs from various areas in the city of Khan Yunis since dawn today, noting that 10 of the martyrs were from the Al-Madhoun family and were targeted in the Al-Mawasi area.

In the town of Al-Nasr, northeast of Rafah, a Palestinian girl was martyred and others were injured in the bombing of a house housing displaced people north of Rafah, including 19 children.

Israeli warplanes bombed a rest house containing displaced families from the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis. Tents are set up inside the rest courtyard.

Also in Khan Yunis, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the occupation arrested displaced people from the Nasser Medical Complex and forced the women to go to the Al-Mawasi area. He also reported that Al-Amal Hospital in the city was out of service.

Al Jazeera obtained testimonies of wounded and survivors who were evacuated from Al Amal Hospital, which is besieged by the occupation army, west of Khan Yunis, to the European Hospital.

In the center of the Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured after the occupation forces bombed a group of citizens who were recovering bodies from under the rubble of a house in the Nuseirat camp.

The municipality of Al-Zawaida in the middle of the Gaza Strip was also subjected to Israeli bombing, hours after a raid on the area that left martyrs and wounded.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that a house in Jabalia camp was targeted, resulting in martyrs, wounded and people missing under the rubble.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 8 massacres that claimed the lives of 81 martyrs and injured 93 others.
