Highlights: The deputy commander of Hamas's military wing, Marwan Issa, was killed in an Israeli airstrike. In addition, senior Hamas commander Ghazi Abu Tamaa was killed along with Issa. Earlier, at least 18 civilians were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
