In the video, the suspect first accepts a package from the hands of another man who is sitting in a car.
This is followed by footage of the man being detained, the security forces shouting to him: “He raised his hands! He has something in his hands!... Throw it away!” After this, an explosion is heard in the distance.
The suspect died. According to the FSB, a man born in 1994 acted under the patronage of the Ukrainian special services; he took out a homemade explosive device he had made from a cache in order to detonate it in the building of a humanitarian aid reception point for one of the volunteer organizations.
