According to the department, in March last year the detainee was trained in mine explosives in Zaporozhye. After that, he returned to Russian-controlled territory and recruited his father to organize terrorist attacks in the Zaporozhye region.

“From August to December 2023, suspects committed a series of terrorist attacks on military infrastructure facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the statement said.
