According to him, the couple lost each other during the evacuation from the concert hall. Bobylev said that the injured man was placed in a helicopter for medical evacuation, he begged to find his wife.
“He said that he evacuated with her, that she was somewhere nearby, and he could not fly and could not live if we did not evacuate them together. The situation allowed, and his wife was indeed nearby. We managed to find her and place her in the helicopter,” the Moscow City News Agency quotes him as saying.
Bobylev added that the couple was taken to the Sklifosovsky Institute, where they were met by a resuscitation team. They are currently recovering.
