The core area of the soybean yield improvement demonstration planting base in Shiyang Town, Xintian County is more than 1,200 acres. According to the person in charge of the base, through measures such as breeding high-quality seeds, adopting high-yielding and efficient technologies, promoting high-efficiency special machines, and introducing subsidies to benefit farmers, the yield per unit area of the soybean demonstration planting base is expected to increase by more than 10%, further improving the efficiency of soybean planting.
"This year, through a series of measures such as introducing socialized services for mechanical operations, signing purchase and sales contracts with purchasing companies, and organizing agricultural technical teams to go deep into the fields to provide technical guidance, farmers have become more enthusiastic about planting." Xintian soybeans are a national geographical indication product. Vinegar water tofu, soy milk, soy milk and other products made from Xintian soybeans are full of aroma and unique flavor. In recent years, due to factors such as yield, cost, technology, etc., farmers in Xintian County have not been very efficient in planting soybeans, and the planting area and total output have been on a downward trend.
In order to improve the county's soybean yield level, Xintian County actively carries out soybean variety comparison tests, selects high-yield and high-quality varieties suitable for planting in the county, vigorously promotes rhizobia inoculation, increases soybean yield, improves product quality, and enriches soil fertility.
