Royal House Kate, perfect princess and the most popular of the Windsors, takes a brave step forward because nothing is above the Crown
King Charles will give an
Easter message on
Maundy Thursday with the intention of providing "comfort and hope" to the British, after the media confusion caused by the cancer diagnosis of the monarch himself and Kate Middleton. The message will be
recorded on video
and broadcast from Worcester Cathedral during a religious service.
Buckingham Palace has also confirmed the reappearance of the monarch at the
Easter Sunday mass
at
St. George's Chapel in Windsor
, the same one where Harry and Meghan were married. Carlos and Camila will preside over a religious ceremony - dubbed 'Eastern Lite' - with a reduced presence of guests to accommodate the monarch's condition.
In any case, it will be the first public event that Carlos III attends since the announcement of his cancer diagnosis on February 5, days after the operation to enlarge his prostate to which he underwent weeks before.
The reappearance will, however, be occasional, as the 75-year-old monarch
does not plan to return to public activity
while still
undergoing treatment for
unspecified cancer. His nephew, Peter Phillips, recently acknowledged to Australia's Sky News channel that the king is "frustrated" by how long the recovery is taking, but has understood at the same time that
he has to focus on his own recovery
. he.
Meanwhile, Carlos continues with his relatively normal activity indoors, and on Tuesday he was photographed again leaving Windsor. In contrast to Kate Middleton's "disappearance" for almost two months, the monarch has allowed herself to be photographed in her comings and goings from his residence, Clarence House.
According to
The Daily Telegraph
, the king plans to resume his schedule of public events next summer, with his sights set above all on the
Commonwealth of Nations summit in Samoa
on
October 21
. Her name initially appeared in the announcement of the Trooping the Color parade in mid-June, but the Ministry of Defense suppressed her name - and that of Kate Middleton - at the express request of the Royal Family.
Kate Middleton and Prince William will not be at the Easter mass and will likely remain until April 17 with their children - George, Charlotte and Louis - at the Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk.
