“Malyuk Vasily Vasilyevich was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 2 months. The period is calculated from the moment of his


extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation, or from the moment of his detention on the territory of the Russian Federation,” reports the press service of the capital’s courts.

Malyuk is accused of public calls for terrorist activities and public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism.

The head of the SBU has been put on the federal and interstate wanted list.

Vasily Malyuk previously admitted that the SBU is trying to strike Russian oil refineries. He hinted that the Ukrainian special service was involved in the murders in Russia of military commander Vladlen Tatarsky and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva, but said that Kyiv would not take responsibility for these crimes.
