In her address, the legislator noted that in Russia there are unique developments in the field of digital educational platforms for secondary general education. Such domestic resources are popular abroad. Thus, in 2020, the Russian Electronic School portal recorded about 50 million visits per year from users from other countries, primarily from neighboring countries.

In this regard, it seems possible to create a “Eurasian Electronic School” - a unified digital educational platform in the field of secondary education for all EAEU member countries. Such a platform will create a platform for the free exchange of best teaching practices and educational materials for teachers. As a result, the proposed platform will become the basis for creating a unified educational space within the EAEU, Lantratova noted.

“Based on the above, I ask you, dear Dmitry Nikolaevich, to consider the initiative to create a “Eurasian Electronic School” and present the position of the Government of the Russian Federation on this issue,” the text of the appeal says.

The legislator also added that the creation of the platform will improve the efficiency of disseminating knowledge about the Russian language, culture, customs and traditions among citizens of the EAEU countries who intend to subsequently work in Russia.

Earlier it became known that a bill would be submitted to the State Duma to abolish the mandatory Unified State Examination.
