The Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal group of aluniceros dedicated to nighttime robberies in restaurants and bars in the provinces of Guadalajara and Madrid, in the development of operation

Ardino

, in which

six people have been arrested and another has been investigated.

The detainees have numerous police records for committing these same crimes. It is estimated that the

loot reached amounts to 6,000 euros,

an amount to which must be added the damage to the premises that is still unquantified.

To commit the robberies, they jammed vehicles into the doors of the premises at dawn or used large sledgehammers and manhole covers to break the closures. Once inside, and with those same materials, they broke the slot machines and cash registers to take the day's proceeds. Those arrested are six men between 29 and 38 years old, four of Romanian nationality, one Spanish and one Bulgarian.

According to investigation sources, between three of those arrested there are 155 crimes and 39 arrests in the Civil Guard database alone. Specifically, one of them has 30 crimes and 9 arrests, another with 62 crimes and 8 arrests and a third with 63 crimes and 22 arrests without taking into account the arrests carried out by the National Police and Police Squad. Despite their criminal history, all have been released.

The agents who carried out the investigations established that the group was perfectly coordinated, so that

each of its members played a role in the organization

: some were in charge of the vehicle thefts, others had the role of drivers to undertake the escape and others committed the robberies inside the establishments.

According to the subdelegate of the Government of Guadalajara, Merceces Gómez, and the lieutenant colonel head of the Civil Guard Command, Cristina Moreno, the operation began last November, when a very active criminal group was detected, operating in localities. of the Henares corridor, specialized in robberies in hospitality establishments using the moon landing method.

After determining their way of acting, the Civil Guard launched a police device that allowed the arrest of five of the members of the criminal organization,

when they were fleeing after committing a robbery in a bar in the Guadalajara municipality of Alovera,

as well as recovering the proceeds. from an arcade machine that had just been stolen. Subsequently, another person was arrested in the town of Azuqueca de Henares.

The detainees are considered

perpetrators of seven robberies with force in establishments in

the towns of Yunquera de Henares, Marchamalo, Azuqueca de Henares, Alovera, Pioz, and El Casar, in the province of Guadalajara, and in Serracines (Madrid).

They would also have been the perpetrators of the theft of five vehicles in towns near the place where the criminal acts were committed: in

Los Santos de la Humosa, Valdepiélagos and Ribatejada, in the Community of Madrid,

and in Marchamalo and Torrejón del Rey, in Guadalajara.

This operation has been carried out by agents from the Investigation Area, supported by units of the Citizen Security Service, all of them belonging to the Main Post of Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara). The subdelegate highlighted the work of the Civil Guard, "which has acted with enormous efficiency and speed since last November she had the first indications of the actions of this group."
