It is noted that people from different cities of the country, including Petrozavodsk, Novgorod and Naryan-Mar, publish online screenshots of almost identical messages that they receive.

Unknown people ask them if they have heard about the terrorist attack at Crocus, and then offer to supply them with everything they need to “mined” the shopping center for money (they name amounts from 400 thousand to 700 thousand rubles).

Director of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina said that the vast majority of messages come from accounts registered in Ukraine.

She noted that she had contacted the authorities with a request to discuss the possibility of limiting incoming messages for children in the messenger from unknown persons. The idea will also be discussed with Telegram.
