The New York State Court of Appeal has reduced the amount that Donald Trump must pay following his civil conviction for financial fraud. The ex-president, sentenced to $454 million in fines, sees his bail drop to 175 million.

The New York State Court of Appeal gave Donald Trump a new breath of fresh air on Monday by reducing the amount he must pay following his civil conviction for financial fraud to $175 million.

The court gave 10 days to the ex-president, fined $454 million with his sons Eric and Don Jr., for financial fraud within their real estate empire Trump Organization, to raise this sum. Donald Trump previously had until Monday to provide a guarantee that he would pay the 454 million, a judgment which he appealed.
