On the 27th, the Liberal Democratic Party and the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan reached an agreement in principle to hold intensive deliberations at the House of Councilors Budget Committee, with Prime Minister Kishida and others requested to attend, regarding the schedule for deliberating the new fiscal year budget bill. The Liberal Democratic Party also proposed that the budget be voted on on the same day, and the ruling and opposition parties will continue to discuss it.

The Liberal Democratic Party's House of Councilors Diet Countermeasures Committee Chairman Ishii and the Constitutional Democratic Party's House of Councilors Diet Countermeasures Committee Chairman Saito met in the Diet and discussed the schedule for future deliberations on the new fiscal year budget bill.

As a result, an agreement was reached in principle to hold intensive deliberations on the morning of the 27th, with Prime Minister Kishida and his relevant ministers invited to attend.

Mr. Ishii also proposed that the budget committee and plenary session vote on the budget, after holding a closing question and answer session at the budget committee in the afternoon of the same day.

In response, Mr. Saito expressed his desire to assess the Liberal Democratic Party's response to the issue surrounding factional political funding parties, and it was decided that discussions would continue.

Meanwhile, Mr. Saito once again called for the Budget Committee to subpoena four witnesses, including former House of Councilors Secretary-General Seko Seko, who had previously attended the Political Ethics Review Committee, and the secretary general of the Abe faction.
