This, as RIA Novosti reports, was stated by Darko Mladic, the son and assistant of the famous commander of the Bosnian Serbs, General Ratko Mladic.

“Russia has been the main target of expansion all these years. We were at the beginning of the process,” he said.

According to Mladic Jr., what began in Yugoslavia in 1991 is now being completed in Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the internal conflict that led to the 1999 events in Yugoslavia was fueled both from within and from without.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also stated that the question of NATO’s responsibility for damage from the bombing of Yugoslavia is open.
