As my country's first manned submersible that can reach the deepest part of the world's oceans for scientific research and operations, the "Struggle" successfully landed in the Mariana Trench in 2020, setting a new record for China's manned deep diving at a depth of 10,909 meters. In the past four years, the "Struggle" has completed a total of 230 dives, including 25 dives to a depth of more than 10,000 meters, allowing 32 people to reach the seabed of 10,000 meters to carry out operations.

Developing and understanding the deep sea requires different marine equipment, and manned submersibles are one of the important equipment for investigating the deep sea. On June 27, 2012, the "Jiaolong" reached a maximum diving depth of 7,062 meters during its fifth 7,000-meter sea trial, and found rich biodiversity on the seabed.
In 2012, my country's first self-designed and independently developed operational deep-sea manned submersible "Jiaolong" successfully completed a 7,000-meter sea trial, marking that my country has the capability to carry out deep-sea resource research and exploration in more than 99.8% of the world's sea areas. capabilities and achieved a major breakthrough in my country's deep-sea technology.
