“Abu Said Abu Said” is the name that Shaima heard from under the rubble to show her father her location after she was stuck between the stones due to the Israeli occupation aircraft targeting multiple homes of citizens in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in martyrs and wounded, most of whom were children.

Journalist Saleh Al-Jaafrawi published several video stories on his Instagram account showing a phone call between a father and his daughter, who was stuck under the rubble and trying to show her father where she was.

Al-Jaafrawi commented on the video by saying, “This father is talking to his daughter on the mobile phone while she is under the rubble and is trying to reach her place.”

Shaima said - during the phone call - that she heard someone calling for Abu Saeed, so the father began asking about this person to determine Shaima’s whereabouts and work to extract her from under the rubble.

“A chance in a thousand.”

The communication between those who are above the ground and those who are under the rubble is one in a thousand. Shaima was communicating with her father to precisely determine her location and rescue her with light equipment that takes time to destroy concrete. She was in complete darkness and there was rubble everywhere and was injured, and by God’s mercy, she was not lost.
