After three years of agitation and crisis, the Senegalese are still waiting, Monday March 25, to know the outcome of the presidential vote the day before, which will decide between continuity and perhaps radical change. They remain uncertain about the need for a second round, for which no date has been set.

Amadou Ba, presidential majority candidate, was considered a favorite in this election.

The results published in the media and on social networks, however, place the candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye clearly ahead of the one in power, Amadou Ba, and very far ahead of the others. Newspapers also proclaimed the opponent's victory on their front pages.
