Zakharova: The US is making excuses for Ukraine after the terrorist attack, covering up Zelensky with a mention of ISIS

With this statement in a column for kp.ru, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

According to her, American political engineers “have driven themselves into a trap” with stories that the terrorist attack in Crocus was carried out by IS*.

“Hence the daily “excuse” by Washington of its wards in Kyiv, and the attempt to cover itself, along with the Zelensky regime, created by them, with the bogeyman of the banned ISIS*,” the diplomat emphasized.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov spoke out about the alleged involvement of IS in the terrorist attack at Crocus. He urged not to rush to conclusions.

Zakharova also stated that Germany is rushing with versions of the terrorist attack in Crocus, but not of undermining the joint venture.
