An attack by armed men on a police station in Yerevan is a terrorist attack. This is how the vice-mayor of the Armenian capital Armen Pambukhchyan qualified the incident.
According to him, voiced during the briefing, it is obvious that “this was behavior characteristic of a terrorist act.”
“Any person who comes to the police station with a weapon or explosive is committing a terrorist act,” TASS quotes Pambukhchyan.
According to the agency, two of the attackers were hospitalized. Another one was taken away for investigative measures.
