A few days ago, Yan Cuiheng, associate professor at the Chinese Studies Research Center of Hanoi National University in Vietnam and dean of the Oriental College of Chengdu University in Hanoi, said in an exclusive interview with China News Service in Wuyishan, Fujian.

  From March 21st to 24th, the first Wuyi Forum hosted by Renmin University of China and others was held in Nanping, Fujian. Guests from home and abroad gathered at the Zhuxi Garden in Wuyishan to talk about the Chinese context and diverse civilizations.

  During the forum, Yan Cuiheng recalled the story of his association with China in an exclusive interview with China News Service. She said that China has developed rapidly over the years and has undergone great changes compared with when she first arrived in China. "This (reflects) the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics."

  "I live in Vietnam now, but I will come to China often. I once studied at Beijing Language and Culture University. During that time, I also traveled across north and south of China to investigate dialects. I have deep feelings for China, just like my second hometown. ." Yan Cuiheng said with a smile, "So whenever I have time, I will find a way to visit my old teachers and old friends."

  Yan Cuiheng noted that in recent times, China has made significant progress in fields such as quantum computers and artificial intelligence, and is also promoting the development of green economy and new productive forces, which is beneficial to countries around the world, including Vietnam.

  She further pointed out that as important neighbors, Vietnam and China, like brothers and sisters, have not only established a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, but are also promoting the construction of a strategic China-Vietnam community with a shared future. It can be said to be "closer than close". She believes that the two countries The relationship will achieve greater development in the future.

  Public information shows that China is Vietnam’s largest trading partner, and Vietnam is China’s largest trading partner within ASEAN. China and Vietnam signed a memorandum of cooperation on jointly building the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "Two Corridors and One Circle" in 2017, putting cooperation in various fields between the two countries on the fast track.
